Mo’ Motion began in 2009 with a team of 7th grade boys and a few classes for siblings, friends, cousins of those boys.  Within five years, the program grew to 650 participants annually.  Our first full class of participants – players who started around the grade 4/5 age range – are now entering grade 10.  Our players are typically 1) very serious about their academics and 2) the most skilled players on their teams.  They understand and execute consistent skill work, team play, spacing, defensive positioning and accountability.

We have several players playing for the following high schools:  Riverdale, Chapin, Stuyvesant, Fieldston, Trinity, Bronx Science, Beacon, Dalton, Grace Church, Lab, Bishop Malloy and more.  A few of our top-performing and most committed players are building their non-academic and family time around their goal of playing college basketball.

For our longest and most loyal participants, we created a EURO TRAIN program in the summer of 2014.  We sent out 20 invitations to girls and boys grades 9-10.  Over 80 percent of those invited said yes.  The few who could not make it only due to fact that they had AAU commitments.

Updates and shoutouts to our Mo’ Motion Alum are frequently posted on our social media handles.
