Get Strong with Summer Camps for Girls!

Get Strong with Summer Camps for Girls!

Mo’ Motion offers full and half day summer camps for boys and girls ages 5-17. Be sure to join us and get SUMMER STRONG while having fun on the courts! We also have room for private lessons this summer. If you are travelling or spending time away from NYC this summer, be sure to take advantage of other great camp options. We want to see all of our players grow, develop, and return for fall ball with that extra edge that a summer program provides. We have heard from parents and players that the following camps have offered value – whether that is just extra time on the court, the chance to play in a specific facility, or some awesome and challenging play experiences.

Notes from players and parents: Camper enjoyed it but didn’t feel the competition was very strong and thus didn’t get that much out of it. It is a good facility and the chance to play at the gym, with only the women’s team players playing/practicing on the other side.

FORCE NYC Skills and Drills Camp

  • Ages 9-17
  • For boys and girls
  • Evenings

Notes from players and parents: Camp was very hot, not air conditioned, but the coaches were very into it, and you might see other local players.  The competition was good, but there were mostly boys.

Basketball City

  • Ages 7-17
  • For boys and girls
  • Downtown Manhattan

Notes from players and parents: This is kind of hit or miss depending upon the kids you get there that day/week, but it is nice due to the facilities. However, there tends to be too many kids for the number of coaches. The boys usually outnumber the girls. It’s also a commute for the upper west side kids to go to SS Seaport.

See here for more information!

Point Guard College Summer Camp

  • For boys and girls
  • Grade 4+
  • Multiple locations in the Northeast

Notes from players and parents: Some kids really like the notebook and academic approach, the leadership sessions, and lectures while other kids prefer to do drills the whole time.  It’s a new experience and a more academic approach for a lot of kids.
