Meet the Winner of NY Liberty Tickets!

This summer we are giving away tickets to several NY Liberty games, and we are excited to share with you more about our first winner, Angela. As part of the contest guidelines, Angela submitted several sentences about her favorite WNBA player, and as you’ll see from her response, great players inspire by their actions both on and off the courts. My Favorite Player,

My favorite player is Tina Charles. I learned about Tina from Coach Elisa. Coach Elisa asked me if I knew who Tina Charles was and I said yes. Coach Elisa said you have to be like her, you have to be more aggressive. I said OK. Since that day I have come out of my shell and with help from my coaches I have been the best Angela I can be. I also like Tina Charles because she gives back to people who are in need. Her strong points in basketball are rebounding and she gives the ball to the shot-makers and that’s really important because that’s how you win. I am mirroring these positive actions and improving so well.
