WINTER Sun – UWS – Grades K-1 Train & Play offers great skills, drills and playing opportunites for beginner grades K-1 – Low hoops, smaller ball (BYO Ball – 27.5″ junior ball is recommended). Outstanding coaches lead ball-handling, passing, and shooting drills followed by team spacing and movement within fun drills, setting us us for scrimmage time. We prefer closed practices to keep the kids calm and focused. Drop and run! Last 15 minutes are open. All the studies say that the training and controlled scrimmages are better for young kids — but we know they love games, too! Make-ups are allowed on Sat/Sun or during the week.
