The Best Sweat in Town

The Best Sweat in Town

MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY – I’m grateful to have taken time out this weekend to hop on a bike at Equinox at Rockefeller Center to root on all those who are fighting the good fight. Cycle for Survival is an incredible fitness event where you ride, dance, sing, cheer and then pause to hear from those on the front line. Then you wipe your tears and shout out for one big group rally. You crank it up, ride and rock on.

My sister, Meghan Holohan, and I rode with Team Luke. Cool-hand Luke Weber is part of the Mo’ Motion family (read Luke “Power Through” Weber).

Be sure to watch Luke tell his story at the incredible event this weekend.

My friend David Linn and his wife Jennifer Goodman Linn started Cycle in 2007. In 2009, it became an official Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center event, and Equinox became the partner. Cycle for Survival is now one of the fastest-growing fundraising events. More than $100 million has been raised to date, directly funding clinical trials and research studies that bring new hope to countless lives touched by rare cancers.

Read up on Cycle here. Make time to break a sweat or volunteer at an event.
