Serious players pull ahead of their peers in the off-season by logging smart, intense training hours that work many areas of their bodies, minds and games. Ashley and Ema reached out to the office asking if we had any ideas on how they could fill a Monday afternoon. We said, “Sure. Bring a lot of water.” We packed up a bag of boxing gloves and wraps and met our friend Leo for an old-fashioned, hard-core boxing workout. Boxing is outstanding for basketball players due to the attention paid to footwork, form, mental toughness, core and staying light and unreadable.
